Developers from the XDA website have studied the firmware of the yet unannounced flagship Xiaomi smartphone, code-named "dipper" (presumably, Mi7). Thanks to this enthusiasts found a number of details about the "chips" of the novelty. In particular, they found evidence of the use of one of the newfangled technologies.
During the study of the firmware code, the developers found mention of the built-in fingerprint scanner manufactured by FPC, Goodix and Synaptics. After that, enthusiasts checked the application MiuiKeyguard, responding to MIUI for the lock screen, and found it mentioning the logo of the fingerprint in the circle, the coordinates of its location on the screen and the algorithm for unlocking the device. Based on all available data obtained during the study of firmware, the user under the name Junior franztesca created a screen layout of the lock of the future device:
In the image we see rounded corners, a small cutout at the top and a fingerprint logo. Probably, the user will need to touch this place on the screen to unlock the smartphone.
Interestingly, all this was found in the old version of the firmware for the "dipper" device, whereas in newer versions there are already no hints of a fingerprint scanner on the screen. According to rumors, Xiaomi has revised its plans and abandoned this option in the upcoming Mi7. Developers XDA consider, that the screen built in the screen can appear in Xiaomi Mi7 Plus with the code name «ursa». This unit will receive a Snapdragon 845 processor, an OLED screen with a cutout and a 4,000 mAh battery.

Employees of the University of Massachusetts say that the United States intends to use cheap energy sources in the next 15 years. Scientists intend to apply wind and sun to installations. This will make the generation of energy an environmentally friendly process and will save oil, gas, and coal. In the short term, the US will switch to alternative ways of producing fuel for power plants.
Environmentalists have long talked about the need to develop environmentally friendly fuels in order to reduce the negative impact of the industry on others. Experts believe the construction of wind parks and solar panels in the volumes of the whole country is quite feasible. This will require material investment, time and reasonable optimism of engineers. The US will not be able to fully provide itself with renewable energy, 10% will be compensated with backup fuel.
