Japanese company Panasonic introduced a refresher for shoes MS-DS100 with built-in generators of hydroxyl radicals nanoe X. The novelty will help quickly and carefully clean the shoes of unpleasant odors while its owners are asleep.
One of the most common causes of unpleasant odors is isovaleric acid - a substance generated by bacteria from sweat. In June 2018, Panasonic conducted an online survey of 2000 men and women (from teenagers to individuals
60+), using sports shoes, and found that about 62% of respondents from time to time struggling with smells, and about half of them are dissatisfied with the result of used shoe deodorizers.
The development of Japanese engineers uses the patented technology of nanoe X to neutralize odors. The essence of the latter is the generation of a large number of smallest negatively charged ions (from 5 to 20 nm each), capable of penetrating deeply into tissues and neutralizing particles that cause an unpleasant smell.
The devices are installed in shoes and after start-up they begin to generate nanoe-particles. The original shape with six holes allows you to carefully and evenly handle the entire inner surface of the shoe - from the toe to the heel. The device is supplied with a stylish and comfortable cover, and the tips are easily removed and can be washed under the water, providing hygiene.
