One of the materials of the official Google site for developers said that in the Android operating system will be native support for hearing aids
Previously, it was not possible to implement support for hearing impaired devices because of the high degree of fragmentation of the operating system.
The first manufacturer, whose hearing aids officially work with smartphones on Android, will be the Danish company GN Hearing. Specialists of Google and GN Hearing are already working on creating a new specification for sound transmission called ASHA, which will appear in the future version of Android.

The ASHA standard will provide the most effective transmission of sound without interference, and also allows you to connect compatible hearing aids to smartphones running Android without the need to use an intermediate device and use them as external headsets.
Because Google found it necessary to publicize this information, there is a high probability that support for hearing aids will appear in Android 9.1. The release of the updated OS should take place some time after the autumn presentation of Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL.
Earlier, Politeka wrote that there were updates in the Google Maps application. New opportunities will provide people with greater security and help relatives and friends less worry about each other.
Now users of Google Maps will be able to share with relatives not only information about their whereabouts, but also data about the battery charge on their gadget.
