Chinese engineers have created technology for remote recognition of a person by drawing veins on his arm.
Engineers from the Chinese company Melux have developed a technology for remote recognition of people by a unique pattern of veins on his hands. Researchers believe that in the future, the system will replace facial identifications and QR codes, writes Zhongguo Xinwenwang.
The technology is called AirWave. At the beginning of the work, artificial intelligence using a camera captures the pattern of veins and capillaries on the user's hand. Researchers claim that the pattern of veins is unique to each person, and remotely read it easier than a fingerprint.
To pass the identification, the user just needs to wave his hand - while the system is able to determine the pattern of the hand and compare it with the person’s personality in a few seconds, the developers say.
